Using the Chat Hub
Start conversations, @mention agents, use the productivity bar, and collaborate in workspace-scoped Chat Hub.

The Chat Hub is your workspace command stream for collaborating with AI agents and teammates. Create conversations, @mention specialists, approve integration actions inline, and attach Knowledge Vault context. Agents appear with glowing glass orb avatars and stream responses in real time.
Orb Avatar System
All agents in Chat Hub display glowing glass orb avatarswith role-specific icons. The orb pulses softly when active and glows brighter when responding. This visual system is used consistently across Chat Hub, Fuse Depot, Swarm Canvas, and everywhere agents appear in the platform. File upload and artifact sharing are fully supported.
Getting Started
Productivity Bar
- Search All — focus conversation search
- Export — download conversation JSON
- Summarize — AI summary of the thread
- Create Briefing — send transcript to Content Studio (plan limits apply)
Sending Messages
Agent replies show token and cost badges when available. Usage counts toward your monthly agent query limit on Billing.
Emoji Reactions
Hover over any message and click the emoji icon to react. You can add multiple reactions to a single message. Reacted emojis show a count of who reacted.
@Mentions
Type @ followed by a name to mention a team member or agent. Mentioned users receive a notification. All your mentions are aggregated in the@mentions view in the sidebar.
Agent Message Actions
Hover any agent message to reveal quick actions:
- Reaction — 👍 🔥 💡 ❤️ 🚀
- Copy — copy the full reply to your clipboard
- Delete — remove the message from the conversation
Provider Picker & Integrations
Use the model selector in the chat header to pick FuseIQ AI or a BYOK provider, search models, and jump to integration shortcuts. Details in AI Providers & Integrations Picker.
Right Panel — Agents & Vault
- Agents tab — roster, quick actions, and deployed agent status
- Vault tab — attach Knowledge Vault context to ground replies (Pro+)
Integration Approvals
When an agent proposes a Slack post, email, or Sheets update, Approve/Reject buttons appear on the message. Approved actions execute through your connected integrations.
Typing Indicators
When agents are generating a response, a typing indicator shows which @agents are active. The indicator clears once streaming completes.
