FuseIQ
Connect your computer
FuseMind can chat without a link. With your computer connected, it can actually do the work — open files, run commands, fix code, use your browser — like a capable person at your desk, with your OK.
You pick the folder and power level. Extreme wipe-style actions stay blocked. Leave the small connect window open while you work.
Fastest path (recommended)
- Open FuseMind chat
- Click Connect this computer
- Follow the one-click helper for your Mac or Windows PC
- When the badge says Ready, just ask — e.g. “fix my bug”, “what’s in Downloads?”, “finish this task”
1. Desktop app (best long-term)
Install Fuse Link Desktop once on Mac or Windows. After that, connect is truly one click from chat — no Terminal required when the app is running. Auto-reconnect + start at login keep the team machine ready.
Builders: cd packages/fuse-link-desktop && bash scripts/sign-and-build.sh mac. Set CSC_LINK + password for signed DMG/EXE. Status: GET /api/fuse-link/desktop-status
2. Browser Link (optional)
For Chrome / Edge / Brave / Arc — let FuseMind open tabs and read pages. Does not replace Connect this computer for files and terminal.
Download Browser Link (.zip)- Unzip (folder with
manifest.json) - Open
chrome://extensions→ turn on Developer mode - Load unpacked → pick that folder
- In FuseMind → Connect → Connect browser
3. Zip / Terminal helper
No Desktop app yet? Chat → Connect → we give you a zip (Windows) or a Terminal paste (Mac). Needs Node.js once from nodejs.org. Leave the window open.
Get the helper from chat →What you can ask after connecting
- “Fix the failing test in my project”
- “What’s in my Downloads and what can I safely archive?”
- “Explain my git status in plain English”
- “Write a NOTES.md for this folder”
- “Just finish the task I’m stuck on”
